In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Prophet Ibrahim ุนููู ุงูุณูุงู
The Breaker of False Gods
Part 2: The Destruction of the Idols
When truth becomes clearโฆ falsehood must fall.
After recognizing the truth of Allahโs Oneness, Ibrahim ุนููู ุงูุณูุงู could no longer remain silent. His heart burned with the desire to guide his people โ to free them from the chains of idol worship.
Calling His People to Truth
Ibrahim ุนููู ุงูุณูุงู began ุฏุนูุช (calling to Allah) with wisdom and clarity. He questioned his people:
โDo these idols hear you when you call? Do they benefit you or harm you?โ
But their response was weak:
โWe found our forefathers worshipping them.โ
Blind followingโฆ without thinking. This was the foundation of their belief.
๐จโ๐ฆ A Sonโs Gentle Advice
Ibrahim ุนููู ุงูุณูุงู did not begin with anger โ he began with love.
He spoke gently to his father:
โO my father, why do you worship that which does not hear, does not see, and cannot benefit you?โ
But his father rejected him harshly and threatened him.
Even then, Ibrahim responded with calmness and respect โ a lesson in character for us all.
A Bold Plan
Ibrahim ุนููู ุงูุณูุงู knew that words alone were not enough. His people needed a powerful wake-up call.
When the people left the city for a festival, Ibrahim stayed behindโฆ
And walked alone into the temple of idols.
The Fall of False Gods
Inside the temple stood countless idols โ silent, lifeless, powerless.
Food offerings were placed before them.
โWill you not eat?โ
No response.
Then Ibrahim ุนููู ุงูุณูุงู struck.
One by one, he smashed the idols into pieces โ until nothing remainedโฆ
Except the largest idol.
And on itโฆ he hung the axe.
The Shock of the People
When the people returned, they were horrified.
Their godsโฆ destroyed.
They quickly accused Ibrahim ุนููู ุงูุณูุงู and brought him before the crowd.
โ๏ธ The Powerful Argument
They demanded:
โDid you do this to our gods, O Ibrahim?โ
Ibrahim replied:
โAsk the biggest oneโฆ if it can speak.โ
Silence fell.
They knew the truth.
These idols could not speakโฆ could not defend themselvesโฆ could not do anything.
๐ก Lesson for Us
Falsehood survives on habit and blind following. Ibrahim ุนููู ุงูุณูุงู teaches us to challenge it with truth, wisdom, and courageโeven when standing alone.
