A man stopped at a flower shop to order some flowers to be wired to his mother who lived 200 miles away.
As he got out of his car he noticed a young girl sitting on the curb sobbing.
He asked her what was wrong & she replied, “I wanted to buy a red rose for my mother. But I only have 75 cents, & arose costs 2 dollars.”
The man smiled & said, “Come on in with me. I’ll buy u a rose.”
He bought the little girl her rose & ordered his own mother’s flowers.
As they were leaving he offered the girl a ride home.
She said, “Yes, please! U can take me to my mother.”
She directed him to a cemetery, where she placed the rose on a freshly dug grave.
The man returned to the flower shop, cancelled the wire order, picked up a bouquet and drove the 200 miles to his mother’s house.
Ļȋ̊fع is so short & unpredictable.
Please appreciate your near & dear ones.
Your presence in their lives is always more important than sending presents.
Let not your marital status make you forget your dear mother that loved you unconditionally & gave up so much to raise you.
I her old age be there for her as she was for you ȋ̊η your younger days.
The Prophet, peace be upon him, stated emphatically that the rights of the mother are paramount. Abu Hurairah reported that a man came to the Messenger of God, peace be upon him, & asked:
“O Messenger of God, who is the person who has the greatest right on me with regards to kindness and attention?”
He ( sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) replied, “Your mother.” “Then who?”
He (sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) replied, “Your mother.”
He (sallallaahu alayhi wasallam )replied, “Your mother.” “Then who?”
He (sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) replied, “Your father.”
