Surahs of the Noble Qur'an

All 114 Chapters of the Noble Qur'an and Their Meanings

"We have not neglected in the Book a single thing." โ€” Surah al-An'am (6:38)

Introduction

The Noble Qur'an was revealed to the holy Prophet Muhammad ๏ทบ over 14 centuries ago. Throughout this period the purity of its text has been secured by Almighty Allah. Truth is guarded through all ages by the power of Almighty Allah. There are millions of Muslims who have committed this Noble Book to memory โ€” one of the methods inspired by Almighty Allah to protect His message from Iblees (Satan).

The Noble Qur'an contains over 6,000 verses arranged in 114 Surahs (chapters). Each Surah carries a name drawn from its content โ€” a name that reflects a theme, a story, or a divine reality discussed within it.

๐ŸŒฟ A Beautiful Habit to Build

The Prophet Muhammad ๏ทบ encouraged reciting Surah Al-Ikhlas, Al-Falaq and An-Nas after every Fajr and Maghrib prayer three times each. He also said that reciting Surah Al-Mulk (67) every night is a protection from the punishment of the grave. Begin with just one new Surah and gradually build your connection with the Noble Qur'an.

O Allah, make the Noble Qur'an the light of our hearts, the cure of our ailments, and the companion of our souls in this life and in the Hereafter. Ameen.
