Turning to Allah with sincere hearts throughout Ramadan
Ramadan is a special opportunity to increase our duʿa. While fasting, during the quiet moments of the day and especially in the final part of the night, turn to Allah with humility, hope and sincerity.
❤️ Allah Invites Us to Make Duʿa
Allah سبحانه وتعالى tells us that He is near and responds to those who call upon Him.
“And when My servants ask you concerning Me, indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of every supplicant when he calls upon Me.”
Qur'an 2:186

🌙 Make Duʿa With Sincerity
Duʿa is not simply asking Allah for what we want. It is an act of worship and an expression of our dependence upon our Creator.

Ask Allah with a sincere heart and trust in Him.

📖 Beautiful Duʿas From the Qur'an
1. Asking for Good in This World and the Hereafter
رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
“Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.”
Qur'an 2:201
2. Asking Allah for Mercy
رَبَّنَا ظَلَمْنَا أَنفُسَنَا وَإِن لَّمْ تَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَتَرْحَمْنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ
“Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy upon us, we will surely be among the losers.”
Qur'an 7:23
3. Asking for Forgiveness
رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَارْحَمْنِي وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الرَّاحِمِينَ
“My Lord, forgive me and have mercy upon me, and You are the best of the merciful.”

رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَاجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّاتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعْيُنٍ وَاجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا
“Our Lord, grant us from among our wives and offspring comfort to our eyes and make us an example for the righteous.”
Qur'an 25:74

رَّبِّ زِدْنِي عِلْمًا
“My Lord, increase me in knowledge.”

❤️ Ask Allah for Forgiveness
Ramadan is an excellent time to turn away from sins and sincerely seek Allah's forgiveness. Do not allow past mistakes to make you despair. Turn back to Allah with sincere tawbah.
Keep Istighfar on Your Tongue
أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ
“I seek forgiveness from Allah.”
⏰ When Should You Make Duʿa?
Make duʿa throughout the day and night. Ramadan gives us many opportunities to turn to Allah.
Use the quiet hours for sincere worship and duʿa.
Keep turning to Allah throughout your fast.
Use the time around breaking the fast for remembrance and duʿa.
Ask Allah sincerely during your night worship.
💚 Make Your Own Duʿa
Do not think that you can only make duʿa using Arabic. You may ask Allah sincerely in the language you understand, especially when making personal requests.
Speak to Allah about your worries, your hopes, your family, your future and your shortcomings. Ask Him to guide you, forgive you and bring you closer to Him.
Remember: The duʿas included above are established supplications from the Qur'an. Your personal duʿa can be simple and heartfelt. Speak to Allah sincerely and ask Him for what is good.

🌅 Morning: Ask Allah to bless your day and strengthen your iman.
