Introduction
Almighty Allah blessed Prophet Muhammad ﷺ with three sons and two grandsons. His sons—Qasim, Abdullah, and Ibrahim (RA)—all passed away in infancy or early childhood, leaving their father to endure profound grief with patience and submission to Allah’s decree. Their short lives remain a reminder that even the most beloved of Allah’s creation was tested with loss.
Through his daughter Fatimah al-Zahra (RA) and her marriage to Ali ibn Abi Talib (RA), the Prophet ﷺ was granted two grandsons—Hasan and Husayn (RA). These noble youths grew under the light of prophethood, embodying courage, sacrifice, and devotion. Hasan (RA) became a symbol of reconciliation and generosity, while Husayn (RA) stood as a timeless emblem of truth and justice at Karbala.
